Our Story

Drifter's Paradise Grill is the latest food concept brought to life by long-time island entrepreneur and restaurateur Walter Loos. After the devastating 2024 hurricane season claimed both the famed Island Scoop ice cream shop and Wilder's Slice of AMI — a partnership with Ryan and Erin Wilder — we are incredibly grateful to rejoin our island family.

We can't say enough about everyone who stood by us through the long road back. A special thanks to Derek and Helena Williams, owners of the Drift In AMI, whose unwavering support and encouragement made this new chapter possible.

Drifter's is a custom-built mobile kitchen designed for flexibility and flavor. Fully equipped with a commercial kitchen, our truck is built for high-volume service and menu versatility — from hand-crafted breakfast, lunch, and dinner to private gatherings and large-scale events.
